To ensure the appropriateness of our transport tariff in accordance with the actual situation, SNP would like to advise the new container transportation tariff as follows:

-  In order to constantly enhance terminal services quality and vessel productivity as well as to reduce port stay;
-  On the basis of current terminal operations at Saigon Newport Company (SNP) (since June 22, 2008, the new terminal operation and management system Top-X has been operational at Cat Lai Port);
-  Pursuant to the agreements between the Saigon Newport Company (SNP) and representatives of all shipping lines at the meeting organized on May 7, 2008

It is worth noting that the berth/yard congestion at Cat Lai Port is over. Thus, in order to maintain regular services at the port, we would like to hereby advise as follows:

Further to the policy of moving unstuffing services at yard from Cat Lai Port to Tan Cang Terminal, we would like to announce that as of 22/05/2008, SNP will move stuffing services for dry cargo containers from Cat Lai Port to Tan Cang Terminal

In order to remedy the situation for swift taking of cargoes, we have got approval from Customs Department Zone 1 – Hochiminh City allowing containers with destination port as Tan Cang Terminal in the B/L and manifest to be delivered directly at Cat Lai Port
