As of 01/01/2009, SNP will terminate the contract of empty container management in Nam Hoa Depot with Marine Development Co. – HCMC. Therefore, those empty boxes having been managed by SNP in Nam Hoa are recommended to be released for stuffing or transported for loading on board as a priority

After a week of implementing the Announcement no. 2307/TC-KHKT, SNP has received many feedbacks from shipping lines as regards methods of collecting costs for transporting containers to final destination displayed on B/L and manifest as Tan Cang and ICDs, especially the containers with final destination as Tan Cang. For a smooth data cross-check and to ensure moving time for the above types of containers as per shipping lines' request, we would like to advise as follows:

For the time being, since a large amount of long-stay import laden reefers in Cat Lai were released, our Reefer Area has no longer been in congestion as it once happened before. In order to support customers/shipping lines who need to export big shipments of reefers via Cat Lai Port, SNP would like to advise amendment to the Announcement no. 2459/TC-KHKT dated 20/10/2008 issued by SNP regarding Reefers' drop-off/stuffing time as follows:

As you all know, service quality of SNP has seen significant improvement thanks to our effort in equipment procurement, yard expansion and successful application of the container management & operation system - TOPX.
However, recent economic fluctuations and increasing input costs, especially high oil price, have remarkably impacted our business and operations. In order to cover the costs and ensure re-investment ability, SNP would like to advise the new container transport tariff as follows

In order to maintain regular operations, especially at the year-end when throughput volume tends to increase sharply, to avoid congestion as well as to facilitate yard planning with the application of TOPX, we would like to advise the regulation on container's dropping off time for loading at Cat Lai Port as follows
