To provide the best services for shipping lines/agents and customers as well as ensure our cargo delivery, loading and discharging activities, SNP would like to advise the Gate-in time for laden reefers for loading on board at Cat Lai Terminal, TCCT and TCIT as follows:

As you may know, for the time being, the inflation has remarkably increased, CPI in first 5 months has risen approximately 13%, and there have been huge fluctuations in terms of input costs, especially fuel cost. As far as we may know, dangerous goods/containers need special management and storage. Until now, SNP has invested much in appropriate infrastructure and equipment to preserve dangerous container/goods. We are currently upgrading Depot 9 into a storage area dedicated to dangerous goods container at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal.
To cover the mentioned investment cost as well as to accelerate the cargo delivery by customers aiming at minimizing the risks for shipping lines, for customers and for SNP, we hereby advise the announcement number 936/TC-KHKT.

As of March 01st 2011, Saigon Newport Corporation continues receiving import laden container discharged at other domestic Ports into CatLai Port for custom clearance and delivery as follows:

Saigon New Port Corporation would like to inform shipping lines, shipping agents, shippers, and consignees about the start of operation of Tan Cang- Central terminal (TCMT)- a subsidiary of SNP. TCMT Terminal is located at Area 8- Hai Cang Ward- Quy nhon City, Binh Dinh province (next to Quy Nhon Port). TCMT Terminal shall welcome the first container vessel on 8th February 2011

To increase our handling capacity of import/export containers at Cat Lai Terminal during the peak season of Lunar New Year 2011, we would like to advise the following measures:

To encourage customers in taking receipt/delivery of laden import/export containers at Cat Lai Terminal during the peak season before and after Lunar New Year 2011, SNP commits to try our best to shorten the delivery time and also apply the preferential tariff for lift on/off of laden containers.
